This is a smart crowd, do you know where and what this engine belongs to?

Yep, it belongs to these two clowns, Ferrari and in the LaFerrari.
It’s the now ubiquitous 6.3 liter V12 mated to a Hybrid drive unit. Yes, it’s Hybrid Electric: the very thing neither of these guys said Ferrari would ever do under their watch, or ever! I wrote about it here in one of my first posts ever for OPPO:

I had a joyous fist pumping and intense moment of self congratulation today, in the privacy of my bedroom, as I read this:

Every time one of these, or these types of clowns says something this stupid, I/you know it’s going to happen and it’s already on the drawing board or even being tested right now.
We live in a moment, in the moment: it does not account for the moments to come and that’s the problem. The kid who just turned 10 today has the LaFerrari as his/her dream machine and it’s hybrid electric. Is it likely that he/she will grow up fully accepting and expecting his/her car to be exactly that?
They do not fear the electrification of the car, it’s just the ‘thing’. The customer of tomorrow is just as important as the customer of today. The job of any CEO and ‘visionary’ is to make sure the company and products are advancing forward to capture the customer of tomorrow. And in that charge, both di Montezemolo and Marchionne are guilty of neglect and stupidity.
The great thing though is that neither is stupid and both are/were saying the thing they felt they needed to at the time and they will not be/weren’t there, when the opposite will be/was introduced to the world.
Remember, this car was never supposed to happen under di Montezemolo’s watch;
and technically it happened that way. The LaFerrari while developed under di Montezemolo, is Marchionnes’ baby. The minuet Marchionne leaves and is replaced, the new SUV or all electric Ferrari will be the jewel in the crown of the new King or Queen.
